The Belarusian section
of the International Society of Human Rights
The Belarusian section of the International Society of Human Rights
is a non-governmental organization. It is a non-profit
organization, independent of any political parties or religious
groups.
The organization was reregistered wtih the Ministry of Justice
of Belarus in 1998, 1999, 2004.
The focus of our activities:
- social rights
- right for life and education
- freedom of speech
- rights of the elderly
- rights of children
We believe that it is essential to turn to the issues of human
rights in Belarus. We also see education, public awareness and training
events as main means of improving the situation with human rights
in Belarus.
